Well, after a fast moving three weeks I'll try to recap. The time has been filled with success on almost every front. Missionary work excellent, extra curriculum and trips. On the missionary front we have met some very fine people. By receiving referrals from other missionaries and also by bringing some of our investigators a little farther along in the lesson plan. We have been using the fellowship program with great success. Earlier I explained a little about an investigator that we met while speaking with some Italian's, a German girl but the name of Badker. Well, we finished bringing her through the lesson plan last week. A sister Gayer was very helpful with the fellowshipping. She had a lot of problems but none that we couldn't solve. Her story was a little sad. She had met an Italian about three years ago. And subsequently had a kid. But she never got married. The Italian was already married and lived in Italy, Sicily. But had come North for working reasons. In a weak moment, well that's the way it goes. She was very honest. Having difficulty with praying in as much as the word Father had a but after my hours of patient teaching the problems were eliminated on after another. We found another room for her and we are now searching for another home for her three year old boy. We have asked among the members and we think we have found a place by a member family where he could stay. Inasmuch as she can't have the child in Switzerland because of laws, and she must work in Basel. She sees her child on weekends . This is a really a story for the books because last week we received a letter from some Elders in North Germany mission that have been teaching her brother and mother since the spring of this year. Her brother has read the Book of Mormon twice and is going through D&C with the elders. The mother however has a few problems because of traditions which she shall have to overcome. But I'm sure with the efforts from the Elders and both ends and the Lord we can't miss. So we are looking for a baptism this coming Wednesday night. We hope everything goes well.

As far as other areas, we have started a small athletic program which seems to have the support of the other elders even if not from the district Leader, Feil, He is just a little to far out for the majority of us " all work not play makes Jack a devil boy" Also, this last week we took a trip with Sister Gayer to Heidelberg and then to Stuttgart. There Heidelberg where we saw the old castle and stayed at a very well known hotel for the night. We caught also a bit of the night life. Liked Cave 5c it had good jazz bands. Not too expensive ,we went on a trip with a mutual friend named Peter. He and Austin Cooper. It was a nice trip. After Heidelberg we went to Stuttgart where we saw Gayer's parents. Geyer had seen them for 6 months . His mother had written a nasty letter about the church, she had been back. She did a little repentance so we visited her- for a couple of hours. It was a nice trip but the weather was real clear but a least it didn't rain.

This last Sunday we had a Conference in Basel for the Schwerzerish Phable. Apostle Benson was here to speak to the members. Also, a lot of the General Authorities in the church came. It was humongous with the people on a tour of Europe for the church. Speaking mostly in German. So when they spoke in Switzerland they kept on saying German and saying things that would make German people happy not Swiss. Benson was the only on of the group not to make such a mistake. The women really hit a sour note. The men in general were a little better informed. I think the General Authorities ought to be briefed before they give speeches. Because there are many haters between these small countries that can be avoided or should be by the general authorities because of the ramifications.

Our investigator Moll wanted to speak with Pres Benson so we arranged an appointment for 15 minutes. But Moll kept on finding fault. Its seems as we remove one barrier he builds another. They could be a good family but the problem of facing themselves and solving this problem instead of looking for faults in others.
